Our Vision
Ephesians Chapter 4: 4-16
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That henceforth we be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
When it comes to having a vision for a ministry, we believe that it should line up with the word of God. Christ Jesus empowered disciples so that they could go out and empower others. We also share in that same vision. Our goal is not to make members of an organized church, but to make members of the body of Christ which is by Spirit. The Word of God says that John the baptist came in the Power of Elijah. What did that mean? In 1st Kings chpt.18:17-49, Elijah was sent to reveal the truth to the people of God who had been seduced by the leaders. If we went by the number of members and by the famous names that sat at Jezebel's table, It would look like Elijah was wrong. Yet Elijah's ministry was in Power and the others were a mere show of entertainment when they danced on the altar. God used Elijah to bring his people back into the original way that God had ordained for them to serve Him. Not only did God use Elijah, but John the baptist was used to bring the people of God back to the fullness of Christ, which the Pharisees and priest had twisted and distorted the doctrine long before John came baptizing. This too is our vision and desire. We want to allow God to empower you that you may go back to your gatherings and empower others with the original Apostle's doctrine. If it's not in the Word of God, then it's not the Word of God.
May JESUS Christ BLESS you to be one in this same vision that He left to the church.
